for the next few days that is. Gotta’ love going into mobilization-mode when it’s all about deploying teams and equipment to project locations not forgetting to mention a 12-hour work day, and working on the go, mobile hugs filled with work again, having to ensure people catch their flights and enjoy on-board yet touch the tarmac looking all fine, that’s what eye drops are for now *grins*
Awake and wondering
Almost 0300, Sunday Morning, and there’s loads of things rushing through this pea brain of mine. For starters, this hasn’t happened to me in ages, to read about over two years of someone’s life, atleast not since junior high school. i am glad that i have though and don’t regret it, it just gives me a clearer picture of what’s happening and it’s sort of form or way to get inside that person’s head and look around and poke and reflect, funnily enough at each entry along the way i’d stop and wonder what i were doing at that time of the year. It’s been time invested into coming back here; time, tears and financial plugs, and to top it all my emotional ROI is messed, but am i sad, most likely a negative. i am a pretty pervert on the inside, need i say more?
My Brain’s Gender is…
Female! Obviously, or maybe not *grins*. Now someone i have much respect for has gotten me talking to myself and posing self-questions where expectations and wants are some of these lovely sticky bits. *giggles* And i know that this test may be old, some people would’ve taken it before and laughed off the results and i have done the same in the past. However according to the diagram below, my brain is 73% Female, and the rest male:
|
Your Brain is 73% Female, 27% Male |
![]() Your brain leans female You think with your heart, not your head Sweet and considerate, you are a giver But you’re tough enough not to let anyone take advantage of you! |
So that must mean i’m not a doormat, even though i have this great urge on ending up as one, that is if one looks or equates a doormat to slavery, consensual slavery of course! *winks*
Just a Beach Bum, Ma’am …
As usual, i ended up on the wrong beach today for the cleanup that this lovely lady — SoulSearch had organized but i sort of figured it out when i walked over to the Coral Beach Club and then made my way over the grassy areas as instructed earlier and oh my, there before me was Wonderland’s neglected treasure. A real beach! Polluted – yes, litter strewn about – yes, deserted a bit – yes but yet it looked so inviting so i set about to click some beauties of how it all looked like before the others came around.

And when the others came (tito came but couldn’t find us), it was just SoulSearch, her brother and kids.
We decided to get to work and soon enough our gloved palms and shovels started bringing to surface a hilarious assortment of garbage, from rotten onions (for crying out loud, who throws onions into the sea..) and a broken chair to polythene bags and carpet scraps. Even the kids did their bit to cleanup with their cute lil red and yellow spades, raking away to their heart’s content. *smiles*
